If you book accommodation or stay in Villa Majda

We will ask you to provide us with your name and surname, telephone number and e-mail address. We will also ask you to let us know your wishes (e.g. non-smoking room). We will send a booking confirmation or instructions on how to make a reservation and payment to your e-mail address. Your personal data, which is processed online, is transmitted via a secure SSL protocol. This SSL protocol allows your personal information to be encrypted and to travel securely over Internet connections. Encryption is activated before the start of the transfer of personal data. You will know that you are in a protected state when a locked lock appears in the lower right corner of the browser. In addition, when you enter the security state, the first characters of the website change from “http” to “https” and your personal information is behind these “firewalls”, protected from any external access. We need your phone number and e-mail address so that we can confirm your reservation and contact you in case of any specifics related to your reservation. Through the e-mail address, we will also be able to ask you for your opinion and well-being with us, which is extremely important to us.

If you book accommodation with us through a foreign website (eg booking.com, other agents), we will receive the information in accordance with the terms of this website, so we recommend that you read the terms of each booking website that you use.

When registering for a stay at Villa Majda, we will additionally ask you to entrust us with your date of birth, gender, citizenship and the number and type of identification document in addition to your name and surname (we can also ask you to view the identification document). We are obliged to collect this data on the basis of the Residence Registration Act for the purpose of keeping the so-called guest book. We are also obliged to keep a date and time of your arrival and departure in the guest book. We must keep this information for 1 year from the end of the calendar year in which you stayed with us, and through the AJPES portal we are obliged to report it to the Police for the purpose of keeping guest records and the municipality for the purpose of calculating and paying tourist tax.
